Quality Labelled Courses

This section of the Directory reassembles EuroTraining Quality labelled (QL) approved courses. The course description page gives you a complete overview of the course, including course fee, lecturers and agenda. At the end of each page you will find a link to the web site of the course provider.

EuroTraining is encouraging training providers to apply to accredit their microelectronics training courses with the Quality Label. The Label is a EU-approved endorsement that has the objective to deliver high quality standards of training to European industry and universities by checking that course providers have a sound process in place for the development and delivery of training courses, and is a beneficial marker for both students and providers. The basic for QL is an assessment using the following criteria:

• Professionalism
• Course specification
• Skill of teaching staff
• Quality of course

If you are planning to attend several worldwide conferences or workshops this year, then it is important for you to keep your work schedule coordinated with your conference agenda. Customised in-Company Training

By developing work-specific courses and holding the training at their own sites, microelectronics and microsystems companies can significantly increase technical knowledge in critical areas.

Distance Learning Courses

Distance learning is defined as an educational form or system that connects students with educational resources. The system provides access for students to study outside an educational institution and so increases learning opportunities for all.

The EuroTraining distance learning scheme will make use of available training resources in microelectronics and will evolve to incorporate emerging technologies. By creating a comprehensive listing of available distance learning, we hope also to stimulate development of essential missing courses. Courses will be multimedia e.g. via internet access or CD ROM.
